I set up my own role-play business a number of years ago becoming a Limited Company in October 2003.  I run a team of over 470 actors, ranging in age from 17—85, all of whom are very reliable, professional people, and have extensive experience in this field, having played a number of different roles and scenarios in both the private and public sector.

My background to becoming involved in the role-play business has developed over the past sixteen years having worked as a role-player, trainer and facilitator in both the private and public sectors.  I have a particular interest in Communication Skills and am involved as a Professional Development Spine Tutor each week for second year medical students and in Communication Skills Training for first year clinical medical students.  I also facilitate on the Teaching Improvement Project System (TIPS) Course and TIPS Communication Skills Course.

I provide actors for the Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE’s) for several departments at the University College London Medical School and am personally involved in varying capacities ranging from facilitator to assessor to organiser. These Departments include Department of Psychiatry, Child Health, Women’s Health/Communicable Diseases, 3rd Year Clinical Exams and Finals Exams.  I also provide actors to The Royal College of Surgeons, The Eastman Dental Institute, The Royal College of Anaesthetists, The Royal College of Physicians for the MRCP (PACES) Exams and I provide actors to the London Borough of Sutton for their Assessment Centres and staff training programmes to name but a few of my clients.

I was casting director and production assistant in a series of videos for the Human Face of Medicine CD ROM sponsored by the BMJ and have also provided actors and appeared, as a patient, in several training videos for various clients including The Open University.
